This position is the 'front line' face of our practice and needs to be friendly, positive and have excellent customer service skills.
The PCC will be responsible for welcoming patients and visitors, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and performing some administrative tasks.
Position Details:
Full-time Position - 30-40 hours a week.
Hourly rate:
$15-20 depending on experience and abilities The Opportunity:
For you to be the ideal candidate, you need the following skills/traits.
A 'sixth sense' to anticipating patient needs and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Organizational skills are a must- you will frequently be switching tasks and need to be able to stay on course.
Initiative and ability to operate without micromanaging.
You must be trustworthy and able to safeguard the confidentiality of our patients and team.
A passion for health and wellness! Duties:
Welcome and greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly attitude Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner Schedule appointments and coordinate with physicians and staff Verify and update insurance coverage Verify and update patient demographic information as needed Collect payments and issue receipts for services rendered Keep the reception area and patient refreshment center stocked and neat.
Cross train and assist with other administrative tasks as assigned Technical Aptitude - the ability to learn and utilize different software applications, online platforms, and electronic devices.
